  • Capacity is billed according to the selected node or SKU and actual running time, and capacities can be paused when they aren't needed.
  • Total cost depends on region, capacity tier and utilization, so an exact universal monthly price isn't supportable.

Three practical warnings. First, don't confuse Power BI Pro or Premium Per User pricing with Embedded capacity pricing, since they're separate products solving separate problems. Second, don't trust any article quoting one fixed monthly A-SKU figure without region and runtime context, because that number is meaningless without both. Third, the model is usage-based rather than a flat monthly charge, which cuts both ways: pausing capacity genuinely saves money, and a traffic spike genuinely costs money.
